Dr. Shambhoo Ray

Dr. Shambhoo Ray is a renowned scholar, spiritual thinker and educator with more than 20 years of experience in teaching and mentoring thousands of students across India. Born in a farmer’s family in a remote village of Samastipur district, Bihar, India, his life story is an embodiment of perseverance, grounded wisdom and dedication to higher knowledge.

He holds an M.A. in Sanskrit from the prestigious Patna University, Patna, Bihar, India and is also Ph.D. and UGC-NET qualified. His service to education spans several reputed government institutions:

• Education Department, Government of Bihar (approx. 7 years)
• Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Government of India (approx. 6 years)
• Served as a Senior Assistant Professor, Department of Sanskrit, B. N. Mandal University, Bihar, India (2019–2025)
• Currently serving as Head, University P.G. Department of Sanskrit, B. N. Mandal University, Bihar, India (since 2026)
